Best friends

I'm also messy and love drama but unfortunately the only story I have to tell is really positive.

My best friend and I finally got the nerve to tell each other we have feelings for each other this week. He's already had two weeks' quarantine from work after getting back from Italy, but we've decided if the UK goes into lockdown or if we have to quarantine (again), I'm going to travel up to him and we're going to spend the time together.

So in a strange way, we're almost hoping for it!

I thought a sweet story might do some good amongst lots of spilled tea x

Gaming dates

There’s a girl I’ve liked for a bit and my big brain play is that we spend a lot of time online playing games and stuff since we’ve been doing that semi regularly anyway.

Time 2 simp

Fresh limes

Day 3 of us working from home. My bf got mad at me cause I squeeze whole limes on my lunch and dinner and now we don’t have any more fresh limes left. Only got those green instant lime juice things that are shaped like a lime and we had a fight cause I tried to reach out for it.

Quarantined partner

This isn’t exactly like what I you were talking about in the tweet, but it still a bit of a dramatic and sad story that might interest you if your bored.

My partner and I both go to the same small liberal arts college.  As a part of their studies, they were sent abroad at the beginning of March.  At a time the college were aware of the virus thing and during the whole time they were there were discussing precautions and possibly leaving early.

But the trips only just left yesterday.  Because of that, my partner now has to be self-quarantined for two weeks.  Now it is most likely that the college will be moving to online classes for the remainder of the semester.  We haven’t got anything but cryptic and vague emails, but we are supposed to get an answer by Wednesday.

So my partner is in the process of just moving back home, which is halfway across the country.  I cant even help or see them why they do this because I don’t want to risk spreading the virus to my family.

And I am now I am just stuck with the houseplants they left me to babysit despite not having any sort of green thumb.  Like I am supposed to try and keep this pine tree they got from their grandmother alive. I barely know how to keep myself alive now I have a plant with pines that occasionally shed and I have no idea how to keep it alive!

Plus I cant see them til who knows when (hopefully during the summer or next semester but nobody knows).  The story will probably eventually have a happy ending. But for now, it is very shitty.

Bi-coastal school shutdowns

I’m a college senior, who is an RA and thus lives on campus at my school. I go to school on the east coast, but live on the west coast. My boyfriend lives on the east coast (we go to school together). Our school shut down and kicked us off campus, which basically means the next time I get to see him is super uncertain and up in the air. In the mean time, I move back to conservative-ass bumblefuck CA (I live in Kevin McCarthy’s district so YIKES) Anyway, that’s my tea. Wish there was more drama but here we are.

Noise cancelling headphones

My mom and I were having a disagreement over if dogs can carry coronavirus and my boyfriend simply put on his noise cancelling headphones…. She turned to him and said “This is how you’re saving your relationship, isn’t it?” He says, “By not listening? Yes”
